When I first moved to the US from the UK I became a bit obsessed with taking photos of my oldest playing in water. It was a novelty after spending many years in Glasgow, Scotland to live in a climate where the summers were properly hot and water play became a way of every day life! I thought of all of those photos when I saw the I Heart Faces photo challenge for this month "Make A Splash" but this one image kept coming back to mind. My husband runs. A lot. And it seems like my five year old might be taking after his daddy. I love this photo so much for so many reasons, for the trails my husband loves to run on, to the mini-daddy my oldest has always been. Really, if running turns out to be the thing he loves, how can I complain?!
